Samiam sind mit den Aufnahmen zu ihrem neuen Album „Whatever’s Got You Down“ fertig, jetzt muss das gute Stück nur noch gemastert werden und erscheinen wird es dann bald über Burning Heart in Europa und Hopeless Records in den Staaten.

Die Band gab folgendes Statement zum langerwarteten Album ab:

„Anyhoo, everyone agrees that it’s a very strong record and all the songs are solid. Philipp (our man in Germany) said the roughs he heard ‚brought tears to his eyes.‘ Unfortunately, an obscure Zombies cover (not one of their hits, and who knows about the Zombies these days?) we were planning on putting on the album just got used in a Nike commercial. Fuck. Boycott Nike. Boycott everything.“
